Is it a common practice to invite company employees, who may not be shareholders, to attend the AGM? What is the practice or sentiment generally about attendance at the AGM - are the legal restrictions enforced, or is it generally open?
Even though not all employees are shareholders, they certainly are stakeholders and have a vested interest in the company. If there is a presentation by management at the AGM, it is a good opportunity for employees to get a broad view of the company.
