Future of Board operations (post pandemic)

    Hello,

I anticipate Boards will need to transform at the same pace as their organizations, following the COVID-19 pandemic.

Are you actively considering how your Boards will operate in a post-pandemic world?

What ideas are you considering to modernize Boards, meeting operations and governance post-pandemic?

Will you go back to in-person meetings and travel, maintain virtual meetings, or adopt a hybrid approach? Have you surveyed your Boards on future expectations?

    Thank you!
    Colleen

We'll probably continue to have one cycle of meetings each year virtually (in winter, to reduce the safety risk and hassle of winter travel).  Hard to say at this early stage what other changes will be permanent, but the virtual team-building activity was popular!

This is a great question and one I am going to bring to my Board for discussion. Thanks for raising this question.

I know my Boards miss in-person meetings but I think a hybrid would be a good approach going forward, especially in the winter months.
