Best practices around board approval of financials

    A board member of a reasonably large publicly traded company is asking about best practices around board approval of financials: are quarterly results always approved by the full board? (if not, any sense of the % that don’t would be helpful). And how often are such approvals done by way of a phone vs. an in-person board meeting?
