Terry Knee is the Corporate Secretary and Chief Communications Officer at FPInnovations, a not-for-profit, private research institute specializing in the creation of solutions in support of Canada’s forest sector. As Corporate Secretary, he is responsible for corporate governance, board management and administration, and corporate policies. In his role as Chief Communications Officer, he is a member of the Senior Management Team and oversees all technical and corporate communications as well as media relations.

Most recently Terry was appointed as a Member of the Board of Directors of CelluForce, a world leader in the commercial production of Cellulose NanoCrystals, a fibre-based bioproduct. In 2018 he completed the Governance Professionals of Canada Education Program (GPC.D) and received his Bachelor of Engineering degree from Concordia University in 1990.

A bilingual, seasoned communicator, Terry has more than thirty years experience in content development, communications and management at all levels, primarily in the aviation and forestry sectors.
